Both of these pieces are really good. One thing to watch out for in the top picture is that both the eyes and the nose seem to have flattened out somewhat. I'm thinking that at that low of an angle, his nostrils would probably obscure some of his eyes and cheek and I think his eyes would probably sit lower in the head and deeper in the eye socket.
